Atlantic Campus Ministry

ATLANTIC CAMPUS MINISTRY

The Atlantic Lutheran Campus Ministry Council, chaired by Pastor Kimberlynn McNabb of Halifax's Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, has been organized to provide vision and oversight to this important ministry, helping to create and re-create Campus Ministry to meet the changing needs of our young people. Chaplain Clement Mehlman ministers on campus at Dalhousie University, and serves as this ministry's coordinator, working with the Chaplaincy Office, students, and staff. The Lutheran Campus Ministry in Atlantic Canada is growing to serve students and the greater world in new ways. Students are involved with Justice and Action, Kairos and other organizations, with with the idea that through Campus Ministry students across Atlantic Canada can tap into what is going on regarding social justice both in their own neighbourhoods and internationally.
